Halloween '13 (Light)

While everyone else is off to party, Claire and Makoto decide to stay behind to enjoy a bountiful hoard of tasty treats and watching some spooky movies. However, the mischievous Naomi has other plans, and invades the house with intent to plunder their assorted goodies. It seems Claire just can't catch a break on this holiday, can she?

Hoo boy, was this a lengthy work. I haven't spent this much time on a picture since starting out and having no idea what to do. Ended up taking probably more than twelve hours total, including the sketch. I know that's probably too long to spend on something like this, but I love how it came out. Still working out how to do proper shadows, but we're getting there.

For those curious; Claire and Makoto are dressed as Samus and Dark Samus (respectively), while Naomi appears as the Sorceress from Dragon's Crown. Bonus points if you get why that's kind of funny. My elven, latex-clad ladies were initially going to have replicas of the actual power suits on as well, but that proved highly impractical for an image like this. But, when life gives you bulky, metallic lemons, make skintight lemonade. I guess.
